North River Lobster Co. Review
There’s nothing better to do on a hot summer’s day than sailing across the Hudson River enjoying the New York City skyline with a lobster roll in hand. And if you didn’t know that’s a thing you can do in New York City, you will now. North River Lobster Co docks at Pier 81 and from there you are aboard their ferry for as long as you want from just the amount of time they leave the dock and make their round back to shore or you can be there for the entire day.
Once you’re on and if you’re not someone who handles boats well, there are tons of choices when it comes to alcohol and tons of menu items from a variety of lobster rolls to a selection of raw bar items and more.
It can feel quite hectic to see an entire ferry filled up right before you leave the dock with no sight of a seat but once you’re on the ferry and you’ve left the dock, you do get a nice view of the city right from your seat. It’s definitely a fun experience or at least an experience I had with my friend for a Sunday brunch which was nice to have a shakeup in the scenery instead of enjoying the New York City skyline from a roof but from a ferry.
I’d recommend anyone to try this out with a friend who likes to be on the waters, mingle with others, or just wants to enjoy New York City from another vantage point.
