Le District: Beaubourg - Review
The greatest thing about New York City is that despite always being a place packed with people there are places that are still a secret that hasn’t finished the game of telephone.
This week I found myself traveling to Le District - Beaubourg in Brookfield Place to try out their Spring/Summer Brunch Menu featuring a summer staple: frosé.
It’s been a minute since I’ve been here and going off their Spring/Summer Brunch menu suggested favorites, I decided to try their smashed avocado dish and boy it didn’t disappoint. Despite the assumption of how an avocado toast is easy to make at home, which it is don’t get me wrong, not everyone can ace a good avocado toast. Sometimes the bread may be too hard and sometimes there’s too much vinegar or whatever add-ons restaurants think to make the best avocado toast but Beaubourg at Le District makes it just right. Their smashed avocado with avocado spread on sourdough toasted with tomato topped and with little to no sauce. While sipping on some refreshing frosé while enjoying my smashed avocado dish, I found my overall experience at Beaubourg to be quite relaxing and a great place to bring friends to sit and sip especially when you’re out of topics to talk about, it’s a great place to people watch.
