What I'd Eat — Smorgasburg Prospect Park 2019
It’s that time of year again. The temperatures are slowly rising and the flowers are beginning to bloom which means Smorgasburg is back in Brooklyn on the weekends. This week, my friend and I decided to stop by Smorgasburg in Prospect Park which is only at this park on Sunday’s and this is what we had that I’d have again my next go-around:
Ramen Burger from Ramen Burger by Keizo Shimamoto - It’s been a longstanding booth at Smorgasburg and with every bite, you can understand why. This ramen burger delivers what you’ve always heard and more. It is quite small in portion but good enough to allow you to enjoy everything Smorgasburg has to offer.
Pork and Chicken Baos from Mao Bao - When it comes to baos, I can never say no and all I have to say after my first bite is I’m definitely coming back for more.
Matcha Mountain from Bonsai Kakigori - If you like Matcha or shaved ice, this dessert is super tasty and refreshing to enjoy especially on a hot summer’s day. It’s not too sweet like usual syrup filled shaved ice desserts but instead, its taste level is just about right.
Crème Brûlée Pancakes from Fluffy - This trend has made its way from Japan to the Northeast and it looks not going anywhere because its fluffiness is just too hard to deny and deprive yourself from.
Aside from what was photographed from this trip, a few other places I’ve tried in the past that are reoccurring vendor
Bona Bona Ice Cream
A Good Batch
10Below Ice Cream
